GENERAL

Diamond Scale Products endeavors to provide quality kits, and inspects the kits prior to shipping to ensure their completeness. Mistakes may happen, and our policy is to replace, within reason, any defective or missing kit parts at no cost. Contact us if you ever identify such a problem. Parts that are lost or broken or additional parts may be purchased at a nominal cost. Contact us for pricing.

We have found that some modelers may have purchased their Diamond Scale Products kit at some time in the past, and are now ready to complete their model. All Diamond Scale Products kits have had their instructions, parts lists, templates and illustrations reworked and revised since 2000. Lost or updated instruction sets can be replaced at a nominal cost. Contact us for pricing.

COMMON ITEMS

Hand-wheel: A 3-1/2 inch diameter molded black phenolic plastic wheel with handle. The wheel has an aluminum insert bored for a 1/4 inch diameter shaft.

Universal Joint: Single and double joint units with Delrin bodies and nickel-plated brass inserts. Universals can be used to make transitions in shaft sizes from 3/16 to 1/4 inch or 3/16 to 1/8 inch. Specify the shaft size on each end of the universal.

Oil-filled Bronze Shouldered Bushing: Oil-filled bronze shouldered bushing with bore diameters of 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, and 7/16 inch.

Hanging Mount Self-aligning Bearing: Self-aligning plastic sleeve bearing in a metal hanging mount (Pillow-block bearing).
